Excitement filled the air in our shop today as we made way for our brand new DMG DMC 5-Axis machine. The day marked the removal of an old machine tool that had been with us for decades that was affectionately known as the “Twin Towers”. A little over a decade ago we went through the process of upgrading the machine to CNC controls.
As we gathered around the old machine tool, we couldn’t help but feel nostalgic. It had been a loyal companion and had helped us produce some of our best work. However, we knew it was time to let go and make way for the new. It was time to embrace the future of machining.
The removal process was not easy, and it required a lot of effort and skilled movement by the experts at Pro-Pac. We had to carefully dismantle the machine, making sure that everything was done correctly to avoid any damage to the surrounding equipment and to make reassembly easy for the future owner . It only took several hours to get it out of the shop, but in the end, it was worth it.
Now that the old machine is gone, we can start preparing the space for the new DMG 5-Axis machine. It’s going to be a lot of work, but we are all eager to get started. We had been anticipating this day for months and have been planning the layout of the new machine.
Our new DMG DMC 125 FD 5-Axis machine is a technological marvel that will allow us to produce even more complex and precise parts. It is equipped with advanced features that make it faster, more efficient, and more reliable than any machine we’ve ever had before. It is an investment in our future, and we are excited to see what it can do.
As we finished preparing the space, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. We had worked hard to make this day possible, and it was finally here. In just a few weeks, our new machine will arrive, and we will be able to start producing even better work than ever before.
