We provide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and end users first-class bearing engineering, manufacturing and repair expertise. Our mission is to help them design, build, maintain and upgrade large rotating equipment to operate more efficiently and reliably over an extended life.
Our experience over 90 years includes: turbine and generator bearings operating in nuclear power stations; very large vertical guide and thrust bearing assemblies operating in some of the largest hydroelectric plants in North America; patented designs for small tilting pad radial bearings for high speed lightly loaded rotating machinery; and new and repaired bearings for the U.S. Navy.
Regardless of the size or type of rotating machinery, Pioneer provides customers with the products, services and engineering expertise to satisfy their bearing requirements and help them solve related operational problems—on time and within budget. Read More »
Though we are a small company, over nine decades we’ve earned a reputation as one of the preeminent bearing companies in the United States. In addition to the major OEMs and power plants in the North American power generation industry, we’re proud our customers have included major electric utilities on three other continents. In the marine market, bearings we’ve manufactured and repaired can be found on U.S. nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers, frigates, destroyers and, indeed, on The Royal Navy’s HMS Britannia while she was the royal yacht of Queen Elizabeth II.
Today, more than ever, we stand ready to serve the OEMs and end users in the power generation, industrial and marine markets with a modern plant, an experienced workforce and engineers prepared to satisfy the most demanding applications and overcome the most challenging problems.
