“Measurements of Thrust Loads at the Brookfield Power, Bear Swamp Unit #2”, May 2006, summarizes the measurements of thrust load made by Pioneer Motor Bearing Company on-site in Florida, MA, to determine hydraulic thrust loads in a 300 MW pumped-storage station.

“Rotordynamics Analysis of Columbia Recirculation Pump with Bearing Upgrade”, February 2006, describes the improvement in lateral stability for a large vertical motor with a conversion from a sleeve bearing to a multi-lobed guide bearing for use at the Columbia Nuclear Station in Benton County, WA.
