Fluid Pivot® and Other Tilting Pad Bearings

We’ll achieve a match between design details and functional requirements using finite element analysis of fluid film properties. An engineering assistant will translate design details to manufacturing drawings with accuracy in 3-D CAD format.

Then our technical service and production managers will evaluate the designs.   They'll determine what changes, if any, could reduce the costs of making the part.   With a fund of experience, they've seen plenty of bearings "over designed" by others.  We'll avoid extravagances, such as needlessly tight tolerances on non-critical dimensions, to help keep your project within budget.

Assuming their suggestions stand up to final engineering scrutiny, we’re prepared to put the part into production in one of our plants for on-time delivery.

Unlike independent consultants with no manufacturing capability, we won’t out-source your job. We’ll maintain tight engineering, production and quality assurance control of it in-house. By doing so, we’ll be able to react faster to any new, unforeseeable requirements you suddenly may have while the job is in process.
